Wherever you are, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are enjoying some downtime over the next few days. I am thankful that my 85 year old father, diagnosed with Stage 4 lymphoma last December, is blessed to be able to live to see another holiday season!
Aw, that makes me so happy to hear, Stephanie! I’m so glad, too. I can’t imagine how tough that must be, so I hope things continue to remain positive from here on out. Thanks so much for sharing, and as a thank you for following along, I’ll be sending you a little Starbucks e-gift card! Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy holiday season <3.
I’m grateful for bloggers like you who consolidate Black Friday sales and cute gift guides to make it easy for the rest of us (who are also sitting around in sweats with greasy hair ). Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
Aw, thank you! I’m so glad you find these posts to be helpful. And cheers to sweats and greasy hair (a combination I rep more than I’d like to admit 😉
There’s so many things that I am thankful for. But the number one thing that I’m thankful for (besides my kids and husband of course) is that my son who just turned 8 & is special needs is learning to read. He came home and just started reading me things and this is the first time in a long time I have seen that confidence shine through. He’s had such a rough year and to see him so happy and shine really just made my heart melt. Nothing makes us anymore happy and thankful then to see him accomplish something that was so hard for him. He is truly the definition of strength and courage.
Best way to reach me would be my email or through Instagram. Happy Holdays to you and your family.
Aw, that’s great! It sounds like he’s past the worst part of the hurdle. I remember having the hardest time learning how to tell time when I was around that age, and it really can take such a toll on your confidence, so I’m glad to hear he’s made so much progress. Thanks so much for sharing, and as a thank you for your support in following along, I’ll be sending you a little Starbucks e-gift card! Wishing you and your family a happy holiday season <3
I’m Thankful for Family and Friends that keep me grounded and laughing through the holidays. I’m also Thankful for this amazing list!! I’m going to have to do some early Christmas shopping!
Aw, thanks for sharing, Julie! I’m thankful for that, too (and I’m glad you found the sale list to be helpful!). Being around friends and family is the best reminder of what really matters in life, which is one of the reasons I love the holidays so much since they bring everyone together.
I am thankful for my mom !!! She means the world to me❤ and has been there every step of the way with me ❤ I am most thankful that she is my mom and my best friend ❤ that I wouldn’t ever trade for anyone !! I am most thankful for my mom who has always been with me every step of the way ❤ She is not only my mom but my best friend, and sometimes my only friend ❤ I love her so much , she always knows how to brighten anyone’s day with her kind nature ❤ She will never fail to make me laugh, I love my mom so much and I would never trade anyone or anything for her, no one could ever compare to her I love her so much ❤ i am best reachable from my instagram @carlymoore653cm
That’s so sweet! And the way you describe her reminds me a lot of my mom, who also happens to be my best friend 🙂 Your mom sounds wonderful, and there’s really nothing better than a family member who doubles as a best friend, so we’re both very lucky. Thanks so much for sharing, and as a thank you for your support in following along, I’ll be sending you a little Starbucks e-gift card! Wishing you and your family a happy holiday season <3
Ohhhh thank you for this! You are awesome.
And of course I forgot the most important part of the requirement
I am most thankful for my daughter, Ireland. I am a single mom, from the beginning it has just been her and I. The absolute hardest job of my life, but my goodness it is the best. She brings me so much happiness.
I am also very thankful for being a surrogate. It felt like a job I was called to and I am grateful I can help add to a family.
I can’t imagine how tough it would be to raise a child on your own, but it sounds like you and your daughter have such a special bond. And that’s incredible that you’ve been a surrogate to families in need. I imagine that’s not easy either, but hopefully the reward outweighs the challenges that come with a role like that. Thanks so much for sharing, Jessica – I really appreciate it!
