This was actually not a blog post I intended to write, but my friends and I were so pleased with our recent stay in this Palm Springs Airbnb rental, that I wanted to share a virtual tour of the property, in the event any of you are looking for a wonderful place to stay for a Palm Springs getaway (and it seems that many of you are because I received lots of direct messages from followers asking for details after posting some photos to Instagram). Speaking of Instagram, every corner of this house just begs to be photographed, so I couldn’t resist spending a morning with my camera in tow doing just that.

We were actually the first guests to rent the house, which meant it wasn’t backed by any glowing reviews at the time we found it, and I’m happy to report that our stay lived up to the attractive listing. Everything from the location and the decor to the hosts and the amenities surpassed our expectations. In fact, we had to force ourselves to leave and explore because the house has just about everything you could want. This three bedroom home was a little spacious for our group of four (not that we were complaining), but would be a perfect spot for a girls’ getaway or even a small bachelor/bachelorette group.
If you’re familiar with The Parker Palm Springs, then you’ve probably noted the resemblance by now. Both spaces share the iconic mid-century modern design that’s so prevalent in the desert, and a bright red door to boot. We actually looked into booking a couple of rooms at The Parker initially, but because of the inflated holiday weekend prices and overall popularity of the hotel, we decided to find something more economical and low key. And I’m so glad we stumbled upon this alternative. Every detail is thoughtfully curated and made to make you feel like you’re on vacation, right down to the cozy robes available in each closet.
Not only was this Airbnb a fraction of the price, but it’s significantly more spacious than what you’d get in a hotel, and comes equipped with a full kitchen, salt water pool, hot tub, two living rooms, a fireplace, bocce court, and so much more – none of which have to be shared with other guests. Plus, the location is right in the heart of Palm Springs, so you’re only a short drive from the city’s other attractions. Needless to say, none of us wanted to leave and we hope to return again soon.
