“Sweater weather” is a bit of an anomaly here in LA, which is something I generally appreciate. But come fall, a hint of envy always seems to creep in when it comes to other parts of the country. All it takes is a few scrolls through my Instagram feed to feel like everyone everywhere is embracing the chilly air, colorful leaves and cozy layers (the fall FOMO is real). I can’t help but feel like I’m missing out on the change in seasons, and the transition in fashion that comes with it, too. Heavy coats and gloves may never be a Southern California staple, but we do get days where it’s actually cool enough to break out some of those warmer layers we’ve stashed away. We finally got a little taste of fall a few weekends back, so you better believe I embraced it with lots of sweaters and boots. Because high-quality sweaters can often come with a hefty price tag, I was thrilled to discover this one. At $30, it’s almost too good to be true. But despite having such a reasonable price point, there’s no sacrifice in quality. I love a soft, earthy tone to complement the season, and unlike some turtlenecks, this one adds just the right amount of warmth without weighing you down – perfect for a Southern California fall day.
