Greek Yogurt With Fresh Berries

Greek yogurt with berries

Sweet tooth is a term that gets tossed around lightly, but embarrassingly for me, sweets are one of my daily food groups. I’ve never been successful at eliminating sweets – impossible in a world where chocolate exists – but in an effort to eat a little healthier now that summer is here, I’ve been substituting fresh fruit for some less healthy snacks. And with so much delicious fruit in season, it’s been surprisingly easy. I typically make some variation of fruit and yogurt for breakfast, but this winning combo is just as satisfying when served for dessert.

Mint for garnish
Fill a small bowl with a generous amount of yogurt. Top with sliced strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and pomegranate seeds. Drizzle desired amount of honey over fruit and yogurt. Garnish with mint. For a pretty alternative, in a tall glass or wine glass layer parfait style, starting with yogurt, then adding berries and honey, more yogurt, berries and honey, then topping with a garnish of mint.
