Plaid And Leather

Cliche as it may sound, I love plaid for fall. The obvious choice is to pair it with denim, but I love when it’s mixed with something a bit more unexpected, like leather. Balancing a classic plaid with something a little more modern, like this leather skirt, is a great way to transform an otherwise casual fall staple into something much more chic. I’ve talked about my love for Rails flannels before, and they continue to be at the top of my list. The material they’re made from is so soft and cozy, it’s hard not to dream about buying them in every color combination. Which, if I had an endless budget, is exactly what I’d do.

I love the color combination of your plaid top- much more unexpected than the usual red and black. Also the leather mixed in, which somehow makes it more feminine in my opinion.

Thanks, Ada! That’s actually what I liked about it too. I usually opt for more of a classic plaid, so it was fun to branch out with a brighter pattern this time.
